Frequently Asked Questions

How do I make a single times-table drill, like the 7s?

Type the table number in the "Times table" box. Every problem will then use that number as one factor, with the other factor drawn from your range (0-12 by default), and the sides are shuffled so it isn't always "7 × something". Leave the box blank for mixed facts.

What factor range should I use?

0-10 or 0-12 covers the basic multiplication facts most schools expect by the end of third grade. For multi-digit practice, set the range to 10-99 (2-digit by 2-digit) or 100-999 -- the vertical layout leaves room for the working.

Can I get more than one page?

Yes -- set the number of problems up to 100 and the sheet flows onto extra pages when printed. 30 vertical problems fit comfortably on one page; 50-60 horizontal ones do.

Do the worksheets repeat?

No. Each click of Generate produces a new random set, and the answer key is built from the same problems so it always matches what you printed.
